ReplyDeleteElder Nash,
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on that first baptism. I've got a down companion for an hour and decided to check up on how you were doing and read the good news. It is amazing the stuff we go through and a little while later all we can remember are the good experiences we had or laugh about some of the not so good ones, like you did. Walking in the rain to an appointment and being stiffed is a great exercise in faith, but it definitely comes up short on any immediate reward other than the good feeling knowing you are doing what you should be.
Our temperature here in India is like St George in July, but with triple the humidity, and we still have the monsoons to look forward to. Seems like we encounered the highest April temps in 50 years. Maybe it is to help us not feel homesick - ha!
We would not trade this experience even though it is hard on an old geezer like me. Give'm heaven Elder!
