Good evening! Hey sorry I was not able to email this morning We had to go and do service on our p-day from 8-4 so that was a fun p-day wasted. We were setting up for the Creches and Carols exhibit this week. Sounds like you all had an extremely interesting week. There has been sickness going around the apartment and stuff but luckily I have not yet gotten it. KNOCK ON WOOd... I'm glad that things ended up well with the thanksgiving feast.
So my week was a pretty good oneI guess. Lets see to start off I told you about the kid that got put with us...well Im about to strangle him and kill him. He is so freaking psycho! I just about killed him the other day. But lets see. This week we had a zone conference where we found out that our dear president Turley is getting sent home. He is just not capable of doing what he could right now as he is healing from his heart surgery. So /One of the office elders is the interim mission president til january when a guy who has been one before will come out and finish the turleys time until july. So please pray for him and his family! Umm so our thanksgiving was a pretty good one. We started the day by going down south to another area where some members made a huge thanksgiving breakfast it was way cold by the way! Then we went to the arch around noon and played some turkey ball! It was way fun and muddy! But when we were done with that the Coleman Family invited us over for dinner where we had a huge meal and it was nice to just relax and eat! So I enjoyed it but I missed my FAMILY. umm saturday we went to a semi pro football game that one of our investigators plays for. Semi pro is just an excuse to continue to play high school football! I could go out and play. but it was good then Elder Vanderkuyl who was with us called a member from his last area (where the game was) and they took us out to lunch as Casa Gallardo. It was alright but I had fried icecream! mmmmmm then she gave us all this really cool book! It is like a history of the church in St. Louis. When I am done reading it ill send it home for you. Oh and I bought curtis a harley day by day calender for 2010 still gotta get you something and cade. But hey sams club here had a black friday sale on a GPS for only 55 dollars it was a Tom Tom it was way tempting haha well that is basically my week. We have special zone conference tom0rrow at the Temple!!!!! way excited. well I love you all and miss you cant wait to call on christmas!!! well have a great week and god bless!

Hey family, I'm sad that I won't be able to make it home for the holidays. so this week I am going to have a wonderful week. Tomorrow is just a normal day but on wed we have zone conference and thursday morning we are going to a turkey day breakfast probably going to go and to play some football. The coleman family is going to provide a thanksgiving dinner for all seven of us missionaries. You may be wondering why there are 7 of us not 6. Well this week there was an ET that went down and an elder came and is now with me and Misilagi and so we are in a threesome. ughh it sucks. Then on friday we are going on team ups with the district leader. saturday were going to a football game down south a little bit. so the week that has just gone and past was a pretty interesting one. It rained a crazy amount this week and it sucked. This week on saturday we had a thanksgiving party at the branch. where other churches in the area..(not LDS) came and did some performances. it was crazy lets just not even go into that. Lets say the spirit left immediately haha. So somehow we got talked into singing at the Creches and carols thing for the community and so were practicing and performing on the 5th. but were singing some african american hymns haha its crazy. but thats basically the week haha and whats new in my life.

Hey, time sure is flying by way fast. Well this week was a pretty crazy week I guess. So we found this way sweet lady to teach and hopefully she will go somewhere. We were at her neighbors house who is a member and we left there and contacted her. We came back like two days later and watched Finding Faith In Christ with her and then committed her to come to church cause she actually has her own car. She actually came too! well were going to go teach her a first lesson this week. Pray for us to get one baptism this transfer! It was a pretty average week..but on saturday we did service at the pagedale community center. We served food and sung I am a child of god as missionaries. Our branch president liked it so much that he randomly at church got up and made the elders come up and sing the intermediate hymn #62! It is such a sick song I love it one of my favorites now. so here is the interesting thing of this week. We were beginning to eat and My companion being a samoan was taking a lot of food. I was watching him and he just out of the blue was like " what are you looking at? A punch in the face?" I totally thought he was joking cause it was way random, so I said Jokingly " I'm not scared" then he dropped his bowl came after me and shoved me then like grabbed my throat and shoved me it was way wierd he looked so scary. So I went and ate in my room and finally he came in and apologized and was like crying saying he was sorry and he wants to finish his mission strong and doesnt want to be angry. Way crazy. He used to be in a gang and beat people up all the time but has changed its way crazy. But now its P-day and its RAINING I HATE rain! Well Love ya!

Hey mom how are things going with ya? well let me tell you a little about my week
my week started out really lame by P-day dumping rain all over my party! We stayed inside most of the day but we did end up going to the science center for a little bit which was pretty fun. On tuesday we had district meeting which was a good time. But it rained tuesday as well and just put a damper on things. on Wed it rained as wel....hmmm you seeing a common thing? well yes its the freaking rain...I hate the rain so much you have no clue! It ruins everything. My shoes were holy and my feet were getting wet. ughhhh well my week just sucked I'll put it that way all the way up to my birthday. I got my package that my roomates hid from me thinking I did not get it and so I was happy to get it and the cake was really good. The sweater fits good and Im going to take the pants to see what else they have. But I also got my pictures finally and they actually sent me two different packs of the same pictures! so thanks for everything love ya!!!

Dear Mom,

What a week I had. Lets just start off by letting you know my monday. So p-day started out normal by emailing and such and then shopping. We were going to go play some disc golf but the elder I was with got sick and My comp and his comp went together to the dentist so we were together. He had to go to the hospital and so we went to barnes Jewish Hospital ( way good hospital by the way) and was in the ER/Trauma center for 5 and 1/2 hours!!! It really made made me want to become a doctor even more! Tuesday I trained in district meeting on Charity and Focused on the talk by elder wirthlin called the great commandment. Anyway after that we went to our investigators home and we were able to set a baptism date with her...its not very solid but its still a date. For November 14th. The on Wed. it was just a typical day for us here in pagedale. same with thursday...
Now here is the wonderful day of the week...FRIDAY..
so the day started out normal..we went and contacted. Then we went to go see some people, all of which did not answer. On our way across our area we took a bus that took us into the really bad part of the ghetto and we had to get off the bus and walk down the street to get to where we were going. As we were crossing the street I was putting something into my backpack and A huge Pitbull started running and Me and mY comp. I was caught off guard and was really scared. Once it decided that it was going to be hard to eat my companion it decided to go after me. I was freaking out and so scared I was able to stomp on its face kinda and kick it a little but it kept coming...as I was winding up to kick it really hard I fell right on my Butt...scraping my hand and such It was all in slow motion but I got up quick and a car driving by saw and pulled up the sidewalk and was honking trying to scare the dog it must have worked cause when I turned around after getting up it was already runing the other way..I was so full of adrenaline after and was way pissed and scared. We then mowed some random ladies yard just down the street...Then later that night we went to catholic mass!!! Holy cow the basilica was so pretty! but I know now why im not catholic..it was rediculous..but anyway that was my week..haha.

So did you send the tape? well this week has been an okay week. It rained crazy hard wed and thursday and so I got soaked. but its okay. There was a cardinals game on saturday here for the post season. They lost to the dodgers and the dodgers won the series 3-0 so they are out of the playoffs now..:( but that was pretty much my week. Nothing too exciting!..
